He's a young Russian who became a very young top star in chess: Grandmaster Alexander Grischuk, shortly called 'Sasha'. In the FIDE World Chess Championships 2000 he made it to semi-finals, and four years later he made it to quarter-finals.
Besides, Alexander is known to be one of the best blitz chess players in the world.
In our interview he talks about his career and the reason of choosing chess as a profession. What are his future targets in chess? And… why did Sasha cut his beautiful hair? The 2006 World Blitz Champion gave us an exclusive interview. Enjoy it!
