David Navara (born March 27, 1985) is a super grand master from the Czech Republic. On the April 2007 FIDE rating list he is ranked number 14 in the world, with an ELO rating of 2720, making him the highest ranked Czech player.

Navara was nominated for the FIDE Grand Prix. Series by host city Karlovy Vary (December 2009) and we did a nice little interview with this young man about his private life, career and so on.
