Round 6: Kamsky joins the leaders

After their first rest day, most players obviously were full of energy again, and it showed. A good round with nice games and three decisions, one of them scored by Cheparinov - he beat Inarkiev. Svidler won a nice game against Karjakin and Kamsky joined the tournament leaders Wang Yue and Grischuk by defeating Adams.

gm_sergey_karjakin.jpgSergey Karjakin (Ukrainian: Сергій Карякін; born January 12, 1990 in Simferopol) has been a top chess player for a while already. At the age of twelve years and seven months he became the youngest grandmaster in history. On the FIDE ranking list of April 2008, he has a rating of 2732, making him number 14 in the world, number 2 in the category of boys up to 20 years old and number 2 in the Ukraine. Today we have a brief interview with him. Enjoy!

Free Day in Baku
